Same ole sorry A** Rams. Get ready for a long season. I have a feeling we are going to be bringing up the rear in the NFC West division. What will happen is we won't win enough games to make the playoffs but we will win to many to get a top 5 draft pick. It's almost like it doesn't matter who coaches this team. We suck no matter what. Why is it so hard to fill running lanes and tackle people Within a few yards of the line of scrimage? It's almost like the Rams players are saying wait we can't tackle this guy yet he hasn't gained ten or more yards yet. On offense no timing between qb and receivers, whats up with Mr. Big contract Bulger? and fumble fingers Jackson is getting to caught up in his own hype and making commercials instead of concentrating on playing football. He needs to get his butt in gear and live up to his potential and not be a one hit wonder. No matter how you look at it, it was a pathetic team performance except for special teams. I realize it is only one game but lets not continue the disastrous defense from last season, but do continue the offense from last season. Give fans a reason to be optimistic and not po'd like I am.

Do you notice a trend here? Bennet is happy to leave the Titans to play for the Rams, Wistrom wants to come back to the Rams. Maybe the Rams have a good thing going now.

He does have one ring to his credit, from wearing the blue and gold, and lots of "potential" titles from the Shehawks. Too bad they don't give out rings for looking real good in the regular season and folding in the playoffs, Seattle would be a dynasty!

Is this the end for Byrd with his legal problems? I think it is a good time to cut him now. Get rid of him before his legal problems become a further distraction. It may serve to help him as well.

Ixnay on wistful Wistrum:

"He could have stayed and played.

He awayed and got paid.

Now he says he's sorry he roamed.

Hey Grantsie! Oakland is the Old Traitors Home".

Presumably he has enough Seattle cash left to buy a bus ticket to the Cesspool By The Bay.

Minus the element of surprise, the 2001 Rams were even that much more astounding than the 1999 team. Right up until Lovie Smith (the first African American coach to lose two Super Bowls) sent in a tired prevent defense and lost SB36, I was having just as good as time with the 2001 team as I did in 1999.

Irrespective of the SB36 loss, 2001 proved that Kurt Warner and the GSOT were no one-hit wonder. Had Mike Martz and his Pygmalion Syndrome not coupled with the green-painted concrete in the 2002 TWA Dome to crush Kurt's confidence and his throwing hand, who knows? Maybe the Rams would be getting talked about as the first NFL "Dynasty" of the 21st Century instead of the now has-beens from New England.

The paint won't be dry for a little while longer. I am slowly adding new features, and refining some of the ones already here. Glad to have you back and posting.
