RamsFootball.com was started by Kevin Morris, a life long fan of the LA Rams. Kevin lived in California as a child and rooted for some of his favorite Rams like Jack Youngblood, Pat Hayden, Deacon Jones, Eric Dickerson and Lawrence McCutcheon. From the Fearsome Foursome to the Greatest Show on Turf Kevin has supported the Rams from their move from LA to St. Louis. However the move of the Rams to the new digs in the midwest never really seemed to fit mentally. Through the 20 years in St Louis the echoes of “LA Rams” were still heard.

The Greatest Show on Turf season of 1999 was the greatest year in Rams history. For the Rams the season looked promising with some young talent, the trade for Faulk and Trent Green at quarterback. When Trent Green went down with injury it was a very disappointing moment. However it was a just a foreshadow of the things to come. Kurt Warner emerged as a star passing the ball to Issac Bruce, Torry Holt and handing off to Marshall Faulk. The Greatest Show on Turf was born and perhaps the greatest feel good season for any team in sports history. The defense was very under rated on that Rams team, holding the opponent at bay as the blistering offense racked up yardage and points in an insane manner. If Dick Vermeil had not retired after the season they would have won at least one more title.

Mike Martz then became head coach and while an offensive genius his genius without the restraint of moderation from Dick Vermeil began to chip away at the Greatest Show on Turf. The Rams would return to another SuperBowl but would never have the balance of the 1999 St. Louis Rams.
